New CMS Quality Website Leaps Forward with Intuitive Design

CMS Quality Website – Intuitive. Informative. Interactive

CMS is not normally known for the quality of their web pages or the information they put in their documentation. Well, that has all changed with the new CMS Quality website. The designers on this web project listened to our complaints about the previous EHR incentive program websites. They definitely brought their A game when putting this website together.
The new site is user-friendly starting right from the home page. It starts by providing an overview of the program and goes into more specifics about eligibility and payment adjustments that clinicians will be subject to over the years.
They kept the menu items simple and to the point; learn about the program, explore the measures, and find tools and education resources. That is all we need to know and we don’t have to search through pages and pages of links hidden in paragraphs to find information anymore.
I must say, my favorite part of this entire website is the way the measures are listed! If you know what we have been working with for the past 6 years, you know what I mean when I say this is so BE-A-U-T-IFULLLL!! We can select from a full list of measures or filter on measure groups, priority of the measure and data submission method. It truly is a work of art.
I would highly recommend setting aside some time in your day to browse the web page. Also, find out how eMedApps can help with EHR workflow and reporting for MIPS and Meaningful Use!
