The CDC has released its most recent updates to the Vaccine Information Statements that are used within the NextGen EHR application. We urge clients to download the most recent VIS information sheets so that the most up-to-date statements are being distributed to your patients.
Forms can be manually downloaded from the following website under the Non-routine section:

The VIS statements are also available for download in various languages. So, if it’s needed, all applicable VIS statements would need to be downloaded separately. As the user will not be able to bulk import the VIS statements from the CDC website into the NextGen application.
System Requirements:
- PDF tool is available on the server that the VIS’ will be downloaded
- Access to IE/Chrome
- Access to NextGen File Maintenance and Distributed Reports
- Knowledge on how to download the VIS’ statements and ability to successfully update them within the NextGen application
